Circus - Primary School of Cinema
A traveling course, a brand-new initiative in the field of film education and training, created and organized by Scuola Holden and the film production branch of Fandango.
Circus is a primary school of cinema, an approach march, a way to get closer to and satisfy curiosity about a world made up of many different professions.
Small towns will be under the spotlights: scriptwriters, film critics, directors, story editors, film editors, set designers, set organizers, press offices, production and distribution managers will be invited to held lessons there.
Along with these experts participants will watch films, read scripts, get in-depth knowledge about the production and post-production techniques and the ways a film is realized until its distribution.
Circus is composed by:
5 seminars starting from the last weekend in March. 7-8 hour-long lessons with film screenings, reading of screenplays, in-depth examination of production and post-production phases.
4 workshops in 8 days, from Sunday March 9th to Sunday March 16th, with 5-6 hour long lessons, focusing on the different phases of the creation of a motion picture.
